THE GENERAL BODY MEETING / ELECTIONS OF THE ASIAN
KABADDI FEDERATION WAS HELD AT ANA HOTEL URMIA-IRAN
ON 27TH FEB, 2023 AT 10:00 AM
Since the President Mr. J.S Gehlot passed away on 28th April 2021. Acting President Dr.Abbas Khajeh Avarseji presides over the General Body Meeting/Elections of the Asian
Kabaddi Federation.
Mr. Muhammad Sarwar Rana, Secretary General of, the Asian Kabaddi Federation informed the Acting President that the house was in order. Dr. Abbas Avarseji opened the meeting and welcome all dignitaries and introduce the members.
Abbas Avarseji from Iran was elected as the president of the Asian Kabaddi Federation with a total of 25 votes.
The electoral assembly of the Asian Federation was held with the presence of the
President and Secretary General and representatives of the Asian Kabaddi Federations (25 member countries), and observers from the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) and Olympic Council of Asia were also present as detailed under:
ØMr. Sathasivam Munisamy, Observer of International Kabaddi Federation.
Ø Mr. Muhammad Khalid Mahmood, Observer of Olympic Council of Asia.
Muhammad Sarwar Rana from Pakistan was elected as the General Secretary of the Asian Kabaddi Federation.
